He's a nice veteran PG who will be able to give a solid contribution off the bench. I like this signing because the Nuggets shouldn't play Atkins for solid starter minutes next season. Atkins doesn't have the same court-vision that Knight does, Knight/Atkins will fight for PG minutes next season. Although, I didn't like the Atkins signing at first, this combo could potentially work pretty well.
If this is true, I would start Knight over Atkins. Atkins isn't a pass first point guard, while Knight could start and distribute the ball to Iverson and Melo, while providing some good defense. Then bring Atkins and J.R. off the bench to provide some good bench production.
Wow, I'm surprised Brevin Knight wants to split time with AI and Steve Blake...I don't know why he chose Denver...
