no. Some folks here know everything. (wasn’t talking about this particular exchange.) I missed that announcement from the home team, tho.
I don't think a McGee for Gasol exchange is all that beneficial to LA. Nor the Bradley for Matthews exchange. The Schroeder for Danny Green one ya, and the Harrell addition will help em. But they're not gonna be totally unbeatable in my estimation.
That's a great pickup for the Raptors. I already liked Baynes when he was just a bruiser but now he can shoot threes.
The Lakers are not even on the same level as the KD-Warriors and LeBron is only getting older on a shortened off-season.
I'm not so sure about that. People just remember that Green missed a bunch of threes in the playoffs, but he was also an amazing +8 in on only 25mpg, and he's a far better defender than Schröder. I also think Harrell is trash, and switching Dwight Howard for him is going to make Jokic very happy.
Schroder with CP next to him was disciplined and lethal in the playoffs. Should be similar next to Bron. Think their team defense will more than make up for whatever deficiencies he has on that end. Harrell opens up things they didn't have before though as a P&R threat. But ya, losing Howard might hurt their D. Surprisingly, I think losing Rondo might hurt them more than we think in the playoffs.
Reggie Jackson would actually fit this offense. We were the most pick and roll heavy team in the league and Jackson was top 20 last season in P&R freq, so he has plenty of experience in those situations. His points per possession was tied with Conley and DeAngelo Russell, two plus P&R ballhandlers. The other two free agents that graded out pretty well were Barea and..Napier. Also Jackson hates Westbrook. That’s a bonus in my eyes.
