25 years old. Averaged 4.3 points and 1.1 assists in 16.1 minutes per game in the G League last year.
So I was going to ask about 2-way players, and this seems like a good thread to do so. Can you be a 2-way player for more than one year? Are Hoard and Moses gone already? How many can you have? Do they affect the cap? So, when Olshey says we're staying at 14, that doesn't include 2-way players?
I assume you are asking because you figure if the Blazers will sign a guy who shot 28% in the G-league, that they might sign me? I'm sorry but the answer is no; my 75 year old knees could not even do it for one year.
If that's the case, I'm fine with that. Without him, this team wins 30 games over the next 2 seasons.
I think it’s a $450k flat salary this season. Doesn’t count against the cap though. Also, they can spend 50 games with the team, as opposed to 45 days, so Dame will be happy!
When Dame was interviewed and indicated they didn't get exactly what he wanted.....maybe this is what he was referring to.
It’s just annoying to see a move that isn’t really basketball driven. Make the guy a ball boy or something if you wanna be doing favors for Dame. A two way isn’t a big deal, but at least sign someone that has a chance.
There was no two-way player signing that was going to have any impact on this season barring, so who cares? If a two-way player is giving you actual minutes, your season is already dead.
You mean what he told Quick? I don't think the exact quote was that we didn't get what we wanted. But maybe it was, we reportedly targeted Aaron Gordon with the same offer that ended up going to RoCo.
That why I didn't put it in "quotation marks", but that was the gist of what was said from what I remember. They were reading off the interview when I heard it on the radio. Perhaps someone who subscribes can post the exact quote.
