At the risk of this becoming a stupid Kobe vs LeBron thread, frankly, Kobe hasn't won anything by himself. LeBron has been to the Finals and back with a mediocre supporting cast. I love Kobe, but that is why LeBron gets and deserves more of the attention and praise. Kobe homers could say all they want, but until he wins a championship with this current team he won't be at that status.

If I say something like "Oh, Kobe isn't as good of a defender as bla bla" or "Kobe isn't the best three-point shooter in the league," they come up with all these reasons to explain why I'm wrong, even though its pretty obvious that I'm right. When somebody talks about Chris Paul and says..."Oh, he's not a good shooter," I'll agree, because I know its true. But Kobe homers think Kobe is GOD and that he can do no wrong and that he has NO flaws in his game...they'd defend that until Kobe himself tells them otherwise.

Lebron. He's the most marketed player in the league, he just made the Finals, everyone knows him, and people love how he plays too.
