https://bleacherreport.com/articles...-campaigning-blazers-for-draymond-green-trade I mean, if you see Nate Jones' (Dame's agent) twitter, and how he glowingly speaks of Draymond's impact, this should come as no surprise.
Dray would give you what the Blazers are trying unsuccessfully to get from Nurk (at least early in games). He's a big that can read defenses and make the smart pass or at least be a moderate threat to hit a jumper. If I see Nurk launch another 3 pointer, I'm going to lose my mind.
So you guys are saying... Kanter/DJJ/Simons for Dray CJ/Trent/Collins/1st for James Dame Harden/Hood RoCo/Nas Dray/Melo Nurk/Giles Seems like a small window. Melo still needs to go.
What do the Blazers have that the Warriors would want, aside from Lillard? Probably only Gary Trent Jr. DJJ might make sense as a throw-in, but he's hardly going to be viewed by Golden State as a major piece in a Green trade.
This needs to go to bed. They have nothing GS wants for someone like Green. GS would not trade the heart of their team. If Curry and Green can stay health through this year, they go with Curry, Klay, Green, a stud in Wiseman and make a good run. GS is a loyal franchise. Several years ago they would have traded Green becuase he was a headache and Kerr was sick of his shit. I think they've gotten over that.
Kanter is outplaying Nurkic by far. Melo is outplaying Covington - Nurkic, CJ, Collins, Simmons and #1 pick for Harden & Wood. Let’s fix this mess
You know who is absolutely garbage is DJJ. Another aminu and Harkless. But hey cool as dunks he has. Then u have Roco. Omg he is not what anybody thought. No wonder Minnesota and Houston gave up on him recently. Then you have Nurkic who looks worse than ever. Unfortunately you can’t have 3 of your starting front court players that suck that bad. It will never work
You're drastically underselling what DJJ and RoCo do on defense. It's just unfortunate that they can't make up for Dame/CJ/Nurk.
Dude you can’t have your starting 3 and 4 be that offensively challenged. DJJ numbers are terrible. He might even be worse shooter than Harkless and Aminu. Roco was on against the Bulls but his shooting splits are terrible as well. Then you add Nurkic who plays so soft and Fg percentage for a big man is beyond bad. Our starting front court is not good whatsover
DJJ was a flier--a project to take a shot on. He has elite attributes and defensive chops. If he can learn to shoot even moderately well, you have a valuable player. I didn't expect a lot from him 7 games into his Portland tenure.
