I watch League Pass on a pc (connected to my tv). Better control of fast forwarding, and you also can quickly skim to active parts of the game based on Filter Events. I live overseas, so I never get to watch it live. Which is kind of nice--if things are going downhill I just start fast forwarding. My big gripes: Only one fast forwarding option. Why can't I skip 2 minutes? No option to automatically skip free throws (except in last 2 minutes). Does anybody really need to spend 90 seconds watching Dame hit three free throws in the first quarter? It's boring. No option to automatically skip all dead time (play reviews, etc). An NBA game is 48 minutes long, with 12 minute quarters. Essentially, what I'd like is that whenever the clock stops running I don't have to watch it. Just give me in-game action. It would cut viewing time down from the usual 1 hour, 40 minutes to 48 minutes. That's going from movie-length games to TV episode-length. They offer condensed versions, but that's usually only 8-9minutes long, which strips out everything but the players shooting. That's even worse, as it gives no context to a play.
Pretty sure he meant their streaming service is behind the other leagues, which it is. I use the MLB app all the time and the options are far superior to the NBA streaming options. I can easily listen/watch either home or away feed and can quickly sync the radio call for either team to the video. Watching the Cubs and having Pat Hughes (radio guy) is the best of both worlds for me. I've heard from multiple friends that the NBA streaming service is pretty bad.
