What's really remarkable about this is that the most sky-high popular first ladies were the ones who essentially did nothing, so finished popular due to not being perceived through a partisan lens. Melania was very much a do-nothing first lady and yet still manages to be the first net-unpopular first lady. Goes to show how toxic the Trump name is now (and also how she managed to insert an unlikeable personality into the national consciousness without really taking any actions or participating in the political dialogue).
I'm guessing Trump finally figured out that he really can and will go to jail if he doesn't close his damned mouth. So he got all Presidential in the last few days and they lost all that bravado they thought they had. Absolutely the lowest point I have ever seen this country. I lived through the Death of JFK, Vietnam War, Nixon, The Hostages, Iran Contra, An Affair, 9/11, The Olympics Bombing, WMD's, 2008 market crash, School/Vegas Shootings. I'm sure I have missed something (OJ should probably be in there?) but the last 4 years have culminated in the worst position this country has been in my lifetime. I hope we all learned something. I hope we all will begin to heal.

Charles Flynn confirmed in a statement issued to The Washington Post on Wednesday that he was in the room for a tense Jan. 6 phone call during which the Capitol Police and D.C. officials pleaded with the Pentagon to dispatch the National Guard urgently, but top Army officials expressed concern about having the Guard at the Capitol. Flynn left the room before the meeting was over, anticipating that then-Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy, who was in another meeting, would soon take action to deploy more guard members, he said. “I entered the room after the call began and departed prior to the call ending as I believed a decision was imminent from the Secretary and I needed to be in my office to assist in executing the decision,” Flynn said. The general’s presence during the call — which has not previously been reported — came weeks after his brother publicly suggested that President Donald Trump declare martial law and have the U.S. military oversee a redo of the election. There is no indication that Charles Flynn shares his brother’s extreme views or discharged his duties at the Pentagon on Jan. 6 in any manner that was influenced by his brother. It makes sense that Flynn, as the Army’s deputy chief of staff for operations, plans and training, would have been involved in the Pentagon response. The D.C. Guard answers to the president, but the president delegates control over the force to the defense secretary and the Army secretary, essentially leaving it to top Army officials to make critical decisions regarding the District’s military force. Flynn, however, is not in the chain of command. I quit smoking weed about 45 years ago. I had to for my security clearance. Just never got inspired enough to renew plus my wife will have none of it.
My friends: The hate in this country is here and won't fade away like a Trump denial of Corona Virus. Today, I was on my way home from work and took a short cut through a small town called Riverside, NJ. As I travelled down this street I was astonished to see a ill kept house with Confederate flags and a center Trump Flag. I gave the house a finger but that is futile. The thought came across my mind to stop and take a picture, report this to the FBI as a potential resurrectionist threat. Kept Driving but it still bothers me. What would be your reaction?
Interesting. I thought about craving it more when it was medical. Maybe I have to go to a beach and enjoy it.
