I posted this elsewhere with no response so maybe I am the only one who thinks it is a slippery slope?

"I know we stand to benefit from this but I don't understand why the NBA is postponing games when there is only one COVID-related issue on the team (that we have heard at least). Injuries happen. You don't postpone a game because you have too many inquired players. You play or forfeit. There is probably more to this story but if not then it is making it look like the NBA is trying to fix games and help out one team vs another (not saying that is the case just that it can look that way)."

Not sure what you are getting at. Are the canceling only some teams games? How are they fixing games? Also - injuries aren’t contagious and deadly so maybe that is it.

Do you have any examples? With such a claim you would think that you would back it up with examples of games being postponed due to injuries and not covid-related reasons.

This is why the NBA needs the G league to be an actual minor league system where every franchise has an extra 15 players parked and can shuffle players in and out at will...baseball does it. Rather than have two way contracts....have 30 players ...15 in the G league ready to call up.

Not quite getting this sir. They are postponing games so the virus doesn’t spread even more right? I mean it goes without saying that pulled hamstrings and ACL tears aren’t contagious. What do you mean it looks like they are fixing games?

To be clear I am not accusing. I said as much in the original post. Grizzlies only have one COVID related issue according to reports but next 3 games are postponed. All other games postponed had 4 or more people on COVID list from a team.

Grizzlies have a lot of injuries though and those don't normally get a postponement but I guess now they do.

It’s the tracing. That one guy was around 12 other guys who MIGHT have it, but don’t know yet.
The guys that do my job for the Atlanta Hawks..... one guy tested positive, so the 4 other guys in his section of the studio are OUT! Even though they didn’t test positive, they are isolating in case they DO have it. No different here.

They announced who got it via tracing when postponing other games but have announced none this time.

my guess if they postponed 3 games is that tracing turned up a need for even more tracing or somebody who tested negative is ill after the test..who knows?

Right now at the arena, we have these little sensor/gps cubes on us. Track where we go and who we are around. If one guy gets sick and tests positive, they will know which one of us was around and could have gotten exposed. It’s crazy! Buzzes and beeps whenever we are too close to other people as well. Between that and the infrared heat scans to check our temp, feel like I’m in iRobot.

Why don't they just ask the police if they can monitor your ankle bracelet from their website?

Players probably tested positive previously, maybe this time they didn’t test positive, but are known to have been exposed. Just because you don’t test positive, doesn’t mean you don’t have it. It can be quietly replicating in you, whilst you repeatedly return non positive tests, only for you to test positive later. Anyone known to have been exposed should be quarantined for 14 days.

    Work in progress.
There is no "Blueprint" on how to do this.
There is bound to be someone who says it isn't fair. There is an alternative but it isn't a good option.

Tracing is an even more preposterous facade than testing. All credible medical experts agree that there's no reasonably accurate test for who has the Harvard China Wuhan Lab Virus, and if you don't have obvious symptoms you cannot spread it. Which means that most of the spread is not occurring by accidental person-to-person transfer but rather by other, obviously deliberate distribution of the weapon.

I guess it matters who you are calling "Credible" because the rest of the medical experts are saying yes you should test and need to trace the Trump Virus and you can indeed spread it without symptoms.
But then again i already know where you get your info so there is that.....
