I used to feel the same way. I'm now 45 y/o and I just started eating tomatoes on my burgers, etc. Someone convinced me to eat a BLT and it changed my life. If you ever want to try to add tomatoes to your burgers, etc, use roma tomatoes. I found they were the easiest to enjoy.

I refuse to eat eggs. I hate eggs. I get a lot shit for it too. They are flat out the most nasty thing out there.

Not nearly as picky as when I was younger. A few things I will never try again. Sauerkraut, sushi and eggs. No thanks to any of them. As for Eggs. Who was the person that watched a egg come out of the southbound end of a chicken and thought. Damn I need to try that.

Mine too...my wife loves it...we planted a persimmon and several kiwi vines.....it's a texture thing....I don't like the fiberglass fibers in persimmons...and to me they are too sweet. It's like another food I can't stand....cotton candy

Thank you. And, for that matter, they boiled it and it smelled like shit.

I have no real things I will not at least try - but I have some things I am not a big fan of.

I am also shocked to hear some of you do not like eggplants - which when properly cooked are delicious - fresh, well made Moussaka is one of the greatest treats in the world - same for charred eggplants in Tahini.

    Obscure food - good topic!

I had deep fried crickets on a stick when I was in Beijing. They were actually quite tasty.

We grill the big boys. Schuck the petites. We usually get ours at place in garibaldi. Or Pacific Oyster there in Bay City. We stay a lot at my grandparents old place which is still in the family in Rockaway.

My son spent a couple of summers on an Oyster farm in Fanny Bay on Vancouver Island when he was growing up....his best friends mom lived there....we're fans of oysters around my home but when you get a bad one...it's hell to pay...they're unforgiving if spoiled
