Back to Little: I matched with a woman on Tinder but we never really connected other than Snapchat follows. At one point before we disconnected she was hanging with NLit (that's never been a nickname of his until now) at a club. I felt exceedingly old, but whatever.
Ariza is the best Blazer to put on LBJ I expect Melo and Mario, so basically Lebron is gonna average 35-40 in the series. We don’t have one wing defender worth a shit on our roster.
Looks like he is out for the next two weeks. Suffered a syncopal episode on the 12th. The article I saw says he fainted during a shootaround.
Could be this years Trent. Forced to play because of injuries and establishes himself. Sucks that that seems to be the primary way a young player gets into Stotts’ rotation.
Let's hope he continues to get run even when the others return. His shot is better than RoCo and DJJ and he might have the most untapped potential on the team. I'd love to see what he can do playing alongside Dame, CJ, and Nurk. Also, he's already has NBA-strength and can take contact at the rim and still convert.
I've always thought that he had the most potential of all our young guys. Imagine a starting lineup with Dame, Trent and Little. And, a competent coach. Gets me excited. Hopefully next season...
should be on record again. I changed my moniker BEFORE we drafted nas. it was foreshadowing if you will on draft night 2019. his shot is legit. activity can be contagious. whatever the reason, really glad he's finally getting a chance. Play so well, terry can't bench him.
He looks like one of the better defensive players on the team by the way he moves. He's got a quick first step. The shot looks great. It looks like he has super underrated handles as well. Also, he's a terrific rebounder with a lot of activity near the basket. I like very much what I see. I like DJJ but Nassir is better in almost every way.
I loved seeing him take threes with confidence. Very Gary Trent-like in just launching them without overthinking. He also plays much bigger than he is--listed at 6'5--with a really strong body. That said, he's played 57 games as a Blazer. This is the first time he scored over 12 points. I mean, it's great that he set a new scoring record at 30 (a lot of NBA guys never do that) but fluky things can happen when basically an entire half is garbage time. Still, it's nice to have something to look forward to in the next game besides Dame heroics.
This will be the true telling point of his career here IMO. Stotts has made a decision to start him the last two games. He has shown he can make a difference. My question is how can Stotts justify putting him back on the bench? We all know Stotts believes a player should never lose his starting position due to injury. But now we are talking about a rotational position. How can he justify playing Melo over Little at this point if Jones/Roco/Kanter/Giles/Trent are all available? Something has got to give? My opinion obviously is worth nothing but I just don't like the idea of sitting Little back down at the end of the bench. Way too much talent and way too much upside. If Stotts wants to keep his job he better be thinking Little might be the answer. Hopefully Dame sees this also.
In his rookie season I said Little seemed to always be in the right place. If he can consistently be a decent 3 point threat, there is literally no reason Hood or Melo should play ahead of him
