    20% from three is 1 of 5.
    2-5 is 40%
I'll let you think about that as you think about Davis having to move out 2-3 steps when Nurk is on the three point line?

Yes, I understand the value of pulling someone like AD out of the paint but until Nurk can hit above 30% from 3, AD doesn't need to leave the paint. I know what 1/5 and 2/5 is... are you trying to say it's easy to go from 20% to 40%? Some can never get above 25%. In the mean time Nurk is taking a lot of shots around the rim.

I'm gonna fall back on my original statement.
While he's at it he can start learning how to just dunk the damn ball.

What is this mythical second unit I keep hearing about. Did the NBA turn into the NHL at some point and start going with line changes? It's just a rotation. I would love it if they brought CJ off of the bench for the rest of his tenure here but Stotts would never and if he did, it might be the only time that Olshey pulled rank on him. Nurk won't come off of the bench either. Stotts has shown time and time again that he is more interested in loyalty than putting the best team on the floor. If Nurk comes back even slower and less interested than he was before his injury, he'll still start.

I agreed he can work on both. But until he can start hitting above 30% of his wide open 3’s that has limited value. Yes dunk the ball, stop bringing the ball down, stop bringing your body down in order to go up.

Kanter is better. Offensively kanter is hakeem the dream compared to nurkic. Nurkic needs to come off bench kanter start

Nurk came back physically and mentally not ready to play basketball. So maybe this time off he can get both back and play up to his potienal. Because if doesn't I don't have qualm to have Kanter starting.

Nurk is better but he is also more inconsistent. Kanter is pretty steady.

Whiteside vs Nurk aged well and now we moved on to the new one. Nurk is on a different league in terms of talent. Many issues yes, but we need him.

I agree totally that Nurk has far more physical gifts and skills and we do need him over Kanter but is his trade value and the idea other GMs might have about unlocking all of that potential worth more to us than what Nurk gives us when healthy?

While he is injured i don't know if we can get fair value.
