It’s a miracle we are only down 10.

 

I think we could use an average big, even when Giles is healthy. Of course we need to upgrade the starting five, but since we aren't trading CJ, that won't happen.

 

I wouldn’t be so sure of that. We have a habit of allowing teams to have their season best from 3pt range. I too thought that in games earlier this season and found myself saying it every game.

 

Dame has 21 points and 6 assists. At halftime.

 

We aren't playing much of any defense right now. 3pt defense looks so bad without any focus. Everyone looks mentally checked out on defense. 5 games in 7 nights has a tendency to do that. Thought the league was doing away with these.

 

If we start making shots we normally make, we're going to win this game. We're getting very good looks every time down. Just haven't been draining them yet.

If we start making them, we can set our defense and the Pelicans might feel the pressure to try to match us, which I don't think they can do behind the arc.

 

The difference is the 3 point line they got 10 and shooting 62 percent and we got 5 shooting 29 percent.

fact is there is a lot of truth to that factor....you live and die by your jump shooting success but we're down 4 bigs trying to play Adams and Zion with Enes and Melo or Roco.....mismatch

Doesnt play him until midway thru the second when we're in a bad dry spell and takes him out only after 3 minutes because of a missed shot. Like that is a position for him to succeed? Mess with him mentally for the early benching and then the early pull while Melo gets to do whatever the fuck he wants... Players coach my ass. Young guys must hate him

They can just switch all side actions like they've been doing for the last few games. I dunno why they aren't doing it. Maybe because Zion? But just double him when he gets into the paint.
