I know. I looked today and went Wow? Absolute worst time to make that decision i guess. No sweat. I'll sit on it and see where it ends up?
I remember like 7-8 years ago arguing with my older brother that Bitcoin made no sense. He thought it would become a universal currency used around the world. I was adamant that he was wrong because it was inherently inflationary and was inflated due to speculation and the diehard fanatical believers. Well I guess I was kind of right, but man I hadn’t considered it as an investment at the time. Boy do I feel stupid now at being so right about it being a crappy form of currency.
Bitcoin cash down 16% today, so I got some more. May get more ETH right now if it goes back down to 1600 (hit it briefly when all the cryptos crashed for a sec). EDIT: Got more at $1707.
I'll buy more ETH if it drops more. Bring down my average cost per coin. It hit about 1400 and is back above 1500. I'll get more if it's in the mid 1300s. Not panicking.
Seriously this has been the worst investment i think i have ever made. Since the moment i bought it this coin has done absolutely nothing but lose money. Bought in at just over 2000 and this morning it's looking like it will be under 1400 before the day is out. Lost 30% in two business days. Glad i didn't need the money because i sure won't be cashing that out anytime soon.
Good news for Bitcoin today. Seems to bleed over to the rest of the crypto market. Ether is up over 10% so that is the right direction.
This reminds me of a Ponzi scheme. Dangerous to get into because sooner or later it comes crashing down.
Nah. Been around too long at this point. 10 years ago i would have and was right there with ya. But today they made comments about Bit Coin becoming the international currency of choice. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/01/bitcoin-btc-is-at-a-tipping-point-citi-says.html
