yeah, the Jazz have been healthy this season, and that's one reason why they are good. Another is that they have lots of talent and the roster construction is excellent. Pieces fit together and they play great team defense. They are 2nd in the NBA in rebounding, 2nd in defense rating, 4th in offense rating, & 3rd in average points. They lead the league in 3ptFGA and are 3rd in 3pt%; on the other in they lead the league in opponent's 3ptFGA's and are 3rd in percentage. And they lead the league, by a wide margin, in point and rating differentials

that isn't all just because they have been healthy

LeBron & Company should be in a cheery mood when the Blazers come for a visit on Friday.

utah jazz were one 3-pointer away (last shot of the game with no time left) from beating denver nuggets in the 1st round

they played without bojan bogdanovic and and if im not mistaken, they missed mike conley for one or couple of games

also, they lead 3-1 in that series

    so youre wrong

Well, it tells us that the Hornets won't be a cake walk for us.

If the Jazz made 22 3 pointer against the Lakers (50 total in 2 games) what would they do against the Blazers? Yikes

I'm not basing anything off of one game.

Philly was 10-1 or something at home when we came to their house and without dame cj or nurk came and whooped their ass.

    But it was one game.

Read today the Warriors are signing Jeremy Lin...he's a guard we should've picked up cheap for the bench..Luke Ridnour type player. Smart...not flashy pt guard

the remaining strength of schedule has been updated

first, the SOS of games played put Portland at 22

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2021.html

    or 23

    https://www.teamrankings.com/nba/ranking/schedule-strength-by-other

    or 24:

    http://powerrankingsguru.com/nba/strength-of-schedule.php

    *********************************************************************************

ESPN's RPI says Portland is 8th best and has overachieved their expected wins by 3 (those Philly games and Laker game I'm guessing)

    upload_2021-2-25_10-9-48.png

    ******************************************

now, tankathon has updated based upon all remaining games:

    upload_2021-2-25_10-11-50.png
    upload_2021-2-25_10-12-36.png

this doesn't account for back-2-back's and Portland has 11, meaning more than half of their game are in B2B sets. Portland's schedule is jammed with 41 games left. I'd imagine the Spurs and Memphis are even worse

Utah, if they stay healthy, have the inside track on #1 seed

Utah more than any team in the league has the same core it had before...they didn't change much....chemistry is a powerful thing ...I think we'll get there

I'm sorry but the title still goes through the Lakers. They've played once, last night, and the Lakers weren't just without two starters like we've been. One of those starters was Anthony Davis. Utah might end up with the number one seed but they aren't going to beat a healthy Lakers team in a seven game series. We'll see how this post ages.

Granted, Lin's game has evolved a bit over the years, but that's pretty much the exact opposite of his style of play.
