Couldn't see game but watched highlights this morning.

Is Olshey really such a dimwit? Little, Trent Jr, RoCo looking like pretty good moves.

 

Wait??? You said they were losing because they are a "Smart" organization when they got absolutely destroyed by the Lakers without AD on Sunday. You can't have this both ways?
Your position on this has already been stated. You expect them to lose and lose big because they want a better pick and are not satisfied with mediocrity.
C'mon Tunchi. At least be consistent.

 

To be fair, the Blazers are also just 2 games out of the #9 spot....that is how close we are to being play-in irrelevant.

 

That's only because Stotts doesn't ask anyone to play defense.

 

I was impressed that he got five steals and two blocks!

 

That's one reason it surprises me that he isn't a more consistent shot maker.

 

Needless to say, when Covington plays like that, the Blazers are a completely different team. He was fantastic.

 

And when Melo is hot, we don’t lose

 

None of it matters if he doesn't address the core issues with the team. It's all just window dressing.

 

I can't believe that him and Stotts won't be gone if we don't do something unlikely and make it to the conference finals again. One actual playoff run in 9 years that resulted in a sweep in the WCF? That's not enough. Just making the playoffs is not enough. I mean, I won't be surprised to see them back if we don't make it out of the second round, I'll just be unbelievably disappointed.

 

I'm not confident at all that the ownership group will make any substantial changes.
