The NBA should extend the three point line to 35 feet for all contestants this year......

And say it's for social distancing reasons :emotions:

Dame just isn't the right kind of shooter to win this. Give him less time, move the three point line back, and put a defender in his face.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Agreed. It's like how Steph lost to Klay in the three-point contest one year--Klay is more robotically good at shooting. It's always the same and is going to shine in a repetition competition. Steph, like Lillard, is better at hitting difficult shots, potentially with an imperfect base or having to change mechanics to account for a defender.

I would bet that Trent would have a better chance of winning over Dame or CJ.

One change I’d like in the 3pt contest is having a teammate or someone the shooter prefers passing them the ball as they go around the spots. Grabbing a ball off a rack isn’t at all like a game situation and it would be fun seeing spot-up shooters get passes and then shoot, like what happens in real games.

Yeah I don’t think the 3 point contest is Dame’s thing. Dame is not a 42+% 3 point shooter. He’s a guy who can make all kinds of contested or difficult 3’s at a respectable clip. Trent should be the guy.
