I'd increase spending. It isn't possible to do without increased spending.

It's part of your compensation regardless of your choice. So if you took the insurance option you're spending $10k per year on insurance. You're might be spending up to twice that and getting a 50% tax credit. But with Medicare For All you'd be covered with no out of pocket expenses, which is almost certainly better than your current coverage.

You asked for numbers and I provided them. It's a lot of freaking numbers... but it's been studied and proven over and over by every country that has done it. Single payer and universal healthcare is just better in pretty much every way.

The "one size fits all approach" is the most flexible, which allows each individual to seek exactly the care that they and their doctor deem they need. There is no other approach which allows that much freedom to so many people.

There is no downside. You have more options, more clinics and more doctors available for every medically necessary procedure. At no additional cost.

You're probably right, but I remember the debit card I had allowed me to purchase all kinds of medical-related items from the store---pre-taxed.

You did? I asked what happens when we spend and don't see improvement that rationalizes the expenditures?

You brought up the point about DC's school system not seeing improvement despite getting a lot of money earlier and I responded to that.

The more general point is that solutions to things not being good enough generally always involve resources at some point in the process. If the current way money is being spent is not working, then you need to reconsider your plan and try to find alternative ways to use that money that may be more effective.

Exactly. Like I’m spending all of my money living in PDX and getting assailed by a bunch of libtards wanting to reprogram me into PC compliance with their demented views on every silly thing imaginable. I should move to Hawaii and spend my money more effectively making myself happy soaking up rays on the beach. Screw y’all.

Now this i agree with 100% and should be the first attempt before increasing spending.

I don't understand. Are you saying that being reprogrammed to be more compliant with demented liberal views isn't working for you?

Sorry, what does this have to do with the what-now?

Wait... this is one of those trick questions you give me right before the shock collar goes off and I pee my underwear again, isn’t it?

Yep, that's a good point. And I don't think there is anything in medicare For All that would prevent that exact same debit card.

Hey, johnnyboy, will Liz Cheney survive? What's your sense about how Wyoming feels about Liz?
