I meant outside of the forum.

I would never bet against the Blazers. Always up for a friendly wager though for a drink at the next meet and greet for some other bet pertaining to the game.

Bazemore was an upgrade from Turner. Toliver and Mario sucked but they weren't really supposed to play

during last game, announcers said that blazers have 6th best offense in the nba, which is good for a regular season, but when the playoffs come, teams will blitz dame and focus on stoping cj mccollum too and therefore dare everyone else to beat them and weve seen how that works, unfortunately... obviously, terry stotts needs to change the offense and nurk might be the key to that as hes the guy who can change teams offense with his passing from both low and high post

its beyond me why terry stotts insists on iso offense, when this team can do more and like nurk said, they dont understand their potential

as a coach, you should get your team to play the way that suits them, cause thats the only way to get best out of them and it looks to me that terry stotts limits his own players

    = "upgrade"

and the funny thing is, those numbers above are inflated from what he did in Sacramento:

he was a substantial downgrade from Turner and I didn't think that was possible

Like I said, it was an upgrade on paper before the season. But our offense was a terrible fit for him.

I don't want to...but sometimes it's such easy money, it can't be helped. It eases the pain of the loss. Scott Foster has hastened my retirement date to be sure.

I usually wonder if Scott Foster has hastened his own retirement as well on Blazer games.

We’ll be closer to 13 wins than 5 wins which was my point.

Depends on if the opponent is over or under .500.

They had more passes in one possession than we do in like 6 or 7.

If we lose these next two games the noise is gonna get real loud around Stotts. If what Quick said is true, and management is already eyeing a replacement, I don’t know how much more they’re gonna take from Stotts. The safe bet is he makes it until the end of the season, but I don’t know how safe that bet actually is if Stotts keeps losing.

What will the difference be between now and two games? You think he's going to get fired mid-season or something?

I guess "noise" is probably the right word.

Ya, you’re right, never seen a coach fired during the season.

So here's the main question - will this team turn things around and make a deep playoff run with Stotts?

Sub question- is this roster good enough to turn things around this late with a new coach?

    1. no.

    2. The roster is good enough, but it can’t just be any coach. And since I know nothing about any of Stotts assistants, I’m gonna say TBD. But firing Stotts isn’t just about this year. It’s about accountability. When you go into a season with the primary objective being defense, and you’re still in the bottom half of the league after 80% of the season is completed, someone’s head has to roll.

So you think if we lose the next two he'll be fired next week?

My questions was: What will be different?
