I have not seen interesting movies but found interest in the Biographies of Milton Hershey and HJ Heinz on Utube. I have great appreciation for determined common men who would never waiver from their goals. These two men have impressed me. Check out these and be impressed.

I just saw this on Netflix. It is intense and reveals a side about Iraqi military and Swat teams that is amazing. You have got to see it.

Saw Martha Marcy May Marlene on H BO, heard it was good but didn't do it for me. Today watched Never Seldom Sometimes Always and that was good.

I've been watching some great old movies lately. I'm focusing on stuff from the 20's, so I've seen Erich von Stroheim's Greed, Foolish Wives and The Wedding March, and Buster Keaton's Seven Chances. Great stuff!

I was disappointed in Nomadland. It was beautiful and interesting, but lonely and sad, little connection between the people... a quiet desperation. Kind of like the essence of 2020 - in a movie.

Watched Imitation Game today. I knew what happened to Turing but still gut wrenching to see this brilliant man, who literally saved England, persecuted and driven to suicide because he was gay.

Yeah, I've seen that. Very well done.
By the way, we studied the "Turing machine" in college. Brilliant. Genius really.

    The Courier. 8.5/10

A great British spy movie based on a very true and little known story from the cold war.

Perfect for a rainy movie night at home.

I've seen it and I can't believe it's based on a true story unless you accept that it's been stretched to the breaking point. Some of that shit simply could not have happened.
Great movie though for the entertainment value. I highly recommend it.
