Rangers up 3-0 after one and looking good. Devils more feisty today and refs need to call them before the 4th or 5th devil crosscheck on the same play

They are basically playing a glorified AHL team so you don't want to read too deeply into these last few games but, they are just dominating.

Ahh, damn, shutout streak snapped. Little bit of a sloppy period.

Got the win, move on. Devs played much harder today, which had to be expected. Tomorrow is interesting to me. Back in NJ, very difficult to beat a team 4 straight no matter the talent differential, and I would think Georgiev in goal. That will be a tough game IMO.

It would be nice to see the kids contribute more offensively but oh well. Their time will come.

On another note. Statement of the year: Joe - "Great coaching by David Quinn by putting Kreider with 20 seconds left and an empty net" lol

Sam and Joe both need to go after this season. Sam mixes everything up from names to penalties to icings etc. Its time Sam. Your embarrassing yourself now. And micheletti is just a glorified cheerleader. Find 2 hockey guys already to broadcast the games. See if Gary Thorne is available.

Sam is still better than 99% of the losers out there who just scream t0 manufacture excitement.

Gary Thorne, who hasn't called an NHL game since 2003 I think, is almost certainly NOT going to call NHL games in the future. He is, or at least very recently was, the play by play broadcaster for the Orioles. I love Gary but, there is no chance.
It is tough watching the games with Sam's calls sometimes....he had a bunch today that were just off. I still love him though. No problem with Micheletti.

Grevy. Thorne was let go by orioles after the 2020 season so is a free agent and was planning to talk to espn about doing hockey games. He comes from Maine so a ny gig if the rangers were interested would be possible.

Sam, like Jim Gordon and Bill Chadwick before him is a NY Ranger institution. He may be showing a few cracks but i'm good with him until he decides to hang it up, which probably will happen in the next 5y. Micheletti is one of the best color guys in the game. Kenny Albert will probably take over when Sam retires.

Joe and Sam are watching the game on tv, not easy to provide live play by play. What NHL team doesn't have homers as announcers? Listen to those fools from Boston or NJ or NYI if you're not appreciating Joe and Sam. Most of these guys break into hysterics any time the gloves drop. Gary's services are desperately needed elsewhere. Meanwhile Quinn's Rangers keep rolling.

I think they are in the arena for the home games and in the studio for away games. Although yesterday was a home game. Sam should be allowed to call games for as long as he wants.
