Should have just went for it and titled the thread FUCK CARMELO ANTHONY. You’d have it up for a bit before the mods changed it.
We would not have been in the game without him. And I would have set up a play for Melo to take the game-winning shot. Another option, Norm to drive and my third option; CJ to take it one on one against two players....
Melo is melo . You can not blame a dog for pissing on carpet when you let him inside house for long time. Scum *edited* Stotts plays melo 28-32 minutes every night instead 10-15 min max
With 33.8 left, why didn't we go for a quick two and try for a two for one? Best they could have done was tie. The last show would have been for the win.
Stotts learned at the end of the game that McCollum is not Lillard. It took me a few years to convince this board, and now, Stotts will be on board with the board.
I mean, you think that Stotts and Olshey for that matter would have already learned this lesson but they continue to insist that both Dame and CJ are the foundation of this team's championship hopes.
In his early years, I repeated my mantra, "He is no Lillard." Tonight, he missed his last 2 shots in the last minute. Worse, he fouled George with 4.8 seconds left, not on purpose since we were ahead by 1. So we lost by 1.
Somehow he never gets injured as well. That would make our life so much easier. Sprain an ankle, pull a hammy or sometbing fuck
THIS, Melo is Melo and this is how he plays, EVERYONE knows that. Letting him play as much as he does is on Stotts and perhaps whatever stupid agreement was made when he agreed to play here this yr (Olshey?)
"the more he stays with us, the more we are associated with his legacy" - neil olshey how about you think about a fucking team and not someones fucking legacy
When you're leading, you want to burn as much time as possible to reduce the number of possessions. My biggest complaint was CJ taking a low percentage fadeaway 3 with 41 seconds left and 10 on the shot clock. If he takes a shot at the end of the shot clock and we get back on defense, the Clippers are forced to take a 3. Worst case scenario, the Clippers make it and we hold for the last shot or overtime. Taking the early shot, allowed the Clippers to take a 2 and not have to foul.
Is that an actual quote, or something you feel represents his thinking? If it's an actual quote, it's pretty pathetic and further grounds for dismissal.
