    I didn't say that.

We do have an idea of what level of success he has with only one all-star. I don't think he would make this roster a championship contender.

Do you think Kerr leads this roster to the finals?

The fact that both have been mentioned as candidates and interviewed for numerous positions in the past without either getting a head coaching position is concerning. Vanterpool was the associate head coach in Minnesota and was still passed on.

Since people are really getting all over this Vanterpool thing I said “I’d rather see that”, the fact is I’d rather see anyone than Stotts and just threw the name out because I know it would be an easy transition with how much Dame loves him. It’s not like he’s my first choice.

He does this every year. Feast or famine. He’s either incredibly hot for long stretches but then goes extremely cold for long stretches. Fan boys every year equate it to some mystery injury, or he’s a new father, it’s something every year. Love Dame but just way to streaky

Well put this the season will be over shortly I predicting now we miss the playoffs altogether and the off season will be very interesting for this team. To me know one untochable but I don't see Dame going that if don't ask for a trade but he probably won't. Powell better 2 then he is a 3 so they at least throw CJ name to see who be interesting. Nurk to his contract is not guarantee next year so with his play does the Olshey walk away from him. Jones might opt in due to I don't think he going get offer another 9 million dollar contract. So how long after the season will take when we here that's Stotts has been let go.

Then throw out your first choice who you think could take this roster to the finals.

When did I say a different coach would take this roster to a chip? I said Stotts is fucking horrible at everything and he is. I think several coaches could take us further than Stotts. I think most coaches wouldn’t let this roster get swept as Stotts has several times. He’s a .500 coach with a top 10 player. It’s the most mediocre situation in the NBA.

I thought Stotts was much closer to a 56% win percentage, not 50%.

What's your ultimate goal? Win a title or possibly be a little better?

You seem much more upset about the coach than the person who built the roster, hired & resigned the coach you think sucks. Seems odd to me.

I think it’s odd your worried about correcting me from 50% to 56% considering they both suck. I also think you must be or related to Terry Stotts, your not directly defending him yet you seem to be annoyed at how horrible I and most in this forum think he is. You can’t get to the Finals without getting better so yeah I wanna get better and finally yes Neil should go, I’ve wanted him gone for 3 years.

56% is better than most, so I disagree. 6% difference is 5 games a season, which you know can be a massive difference.

I'm not related to Stotts, so that would be another wrong assumption. I'll be called an apologist of the next coach as well, it comes with the territory when my stance is that coaching plays a very small role on overall team success.

I'm not at all annoyed with you, I appreciate your alternative opinions. You are challenging my takes and I'm challenging yours, nothing personal about it.

I think we are playing better. Just look at the defense. But still too many low IQ plays by low IQ players. Sometimes you take one step forward two steps back.

2 losses by 2 total points to 2 teams ahead of us in our conference in 2 nights is a little too much to be positive about for me.

If coaching plays a very small role on team success can we just put an empty chair in his place? I cannot even stand his face anymore.

Btw this is a very bad take from you. Coaching is very important in basketball. Never in my life I thought i would find someone say it's not important.

An empty chair would mean no difference, which I did not say.

Let's flip this a bit to test your theory:

You think coaching is very important correct? The average team spends about $115m on players and that number would likely be higher if it weren't for the salary cap and tax pentalties. The average NBA coach makes $3m and there are ZERO salary cap or tax implications on those dollars spent.

If great coaches made a massive difference in relation to talent, economics would say they would be paid accordingly. Teams would be crazy to not throw $30m, $40m, $50m A YEAR to a coach if it meant an extra 10 wins a year, that would be great value. Instead, they pay their coaches vet minimum salaries.

To me, the clear conclusion is that they think the difference from an ok coach to great coach just isn't that impactful and isn't worth the money.

Why do you think coaches are underpaid this badly if having a great one is so important?
