Have you done the science? I never knew any who craved sugar or snacks. That's a stereotype to turn into comedy the incarceration of tens of millions of Americans. You don't know a lot.
The science has been done: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cn...y-weed-causes-munchies-food-drayer/index.html
Damian Lillard: If you gone post this s— with real concern that’s cool. But don’t ask “how does one go from “this to that” … he clearly having real life issues. That’s how… you don’t know WHAT it is he’s going through to cause a drastic change . If you gone be supportive then do that but don’t ask no shit like that like it’s not possible when you naturally a big dude and go down a dark road.
Dame knows him, he has the ability to reach out and help the kid get on track. Going down the dark road makes you wonder what that entails but like I said, Biggie has plenty of people he can reach out to. I think it's fair to ask how somone could balloon from NBA shape to that size in such a short time....usually takes people years to put on those type of pounds. He last posted the white powder and baggie on his table and now this picture is the first we've seen since then.......Dame would be lying if he didn't find it shocking himself I'd say.
Dame was absolutely right in his response. That post was not "real concern", it was mocking, but they tried to come with the prayer hands like they cared.
Good point....I would hope as his friend Dame would reach out beyond twitter about it. If the kid were my friend I sure would
This is one of the saddest threads I've seen on s2. I hope he finds the help he needs. I have my own pontifications about why this happened, but they don't really matter.
The whole Blazers team should reach out, it should be coming from Jody Allen, Neil Olshey, Chris McGowan not just Dame or the players. I hope he gets help.
He's no longer an employee of the team. They have about as much obligation to reach out to him as does every fan who received entertainment value from watching him play. So, if you feel the team should be reaching out, then you should be, too. Practice what you preach.
Note that I didn't say the team shouldn't reach out, rather that the keyboard warriors should reach out. Otherwise, they're hypocrites. Judging other people's or entity's moral standing without doing anything certainly isn't heart. I call bullshit where I see it.
My thoughts exactly His story was how ball helped him stay healthy Bounced around the league and never stuck I wish he would keep that mentality cause it obviously wasn’t incorrect and being an NBA superstar shouldn’t be the barometer for his success. He could have gone overseas... Maybe still could if he wanted to. Who knows man... Wild... We’ve seen “it” happen with others before. Like Barkley at the playground in space jam... Now as someone who is out of shape himself and could stand to be more of a “gym rat” - I don’t have a leg to stand on really... Just hope he’s well mentally and physically.
No they don’t have any obligation and perhaps they won’t reach out to him at all - but it’s no more or less judgmental for Stotts, Dame, Nurk, Neil, HCP, or anyone else in the organization to consider his well being than it is for any of us “keyboard warriors” who sincerely felt his backstory when he became a trailblazer. You: Hey Biggie, I saw you in court and wanted to see how you were doing... Biggie: Who the f*** are you? Let me have some peace about this... Stotts: Hey Caleb, it’s Coach Stotts. Just wanted to reach out on behalf of the organization and make sure things are okay with you. Biggie: It’s good to hear from you...
