Well. Here we are. The offseason.

But not just any offseason, maybe the most crucial offseason since... when? 2016?

Big shakeups are about to happen.

At least we hope. Unmet hopes & expectations seem to be the lot of a Blazer fan.

Honestly if there isn't shakeups there are gonna be some incredibly upset fans. EVERYONE saw it after game 5. There's no olshey talk magic he can pull to shine this diarrhea turd.

It has to happen. There isn't a "hope so".

I'm going to pretend like who the GM is doesn't matter. First we fire Stotts. Then we get what we can for CJ trade and hire a new coach by draft day. After we know what our roster and system look like we'll have to decide whether we pursue extensions with Zach, Nurk and RoCo. We'll need to fill a need with the MLE. Then hopefully we can fill the roster with guys that have potential that an open minded coach can use if needs be.

First step is a new coach. Not sure about after that.

Lillard ask "how long should he stay dedicated"....For those of you that dont think Dame has/should have influence on the direction of the team........wrong

Dame is dedicated to this franchise and he has goal to win a championship with this team. Now there but now saying I always going to do my part for that goal but now telling management do your job to give him at least the opportunity to at least be in the conversation for that title.

I'm imagining a conversation between Chris McGowan and the owner.

My guess is that Chris says something like "If Stotts says, the fans won't return".
I'm just wondering if he says the same about Olshey.

Stotts is gone, it’s just a matter of when they announce it. No way he survives. I think the better question is Olsheys security. He’s not innocent either , and if Quicks reporting is to be believed, and ownership is looking for the Blazers version of Pete Carroll, they may just clean house completely. I do wonder if Ainge hitting the market changed any plans.

    1. Dismiss Stotts
    2. Trade CJ
    3. Re-sign Powell to play SG.
    4. Move RoCo to SF. A poster here went to a lot of work to show how much better he is in his career as a small forward versus a power forward. It's much better for him to be able to switch on players bigger or smaller from that position.
    5. Get an actual bunco PG!
    6. Guarantee Nurk's 4th year. Inconsistent but tough ti get better! Ability for that amount in his contract.
    7. Get a back up C the fits better paying against 2nd units.
    8. Don't think this all happens because one of these things needs to be that Olshey is gone as well.
    9. Get more mobile size. How can it be a shock that Stotts runs 3 players out there 6'3" and under with a rail thin power forward and then we get killed on the boards most nights.
    10. Play Little. He has since skills that no one else on the roster has but getting 2-3 minute shifts isn't going to do a damn thing to develop him.

Now... under/ under on how many of those things happen?

What if you could trade CJ for Siakam (using a third team like NY or New Orleans) but I know Ujiri would want Little, besides picks and a young player from the third team? Would you do it? Blazerkor has never answered this question. :) I think Zach hopefully can be our backup center (and backup PF).

Masai should trade us Siakam and their pick for CJ. Then get Neil fired and sign here
