I was thinking about this the other day. Were we just horribly underrating Harkless and Aminu?

More that they were right in Stotts wheelhouse of guiding to over achieving. Also, eff Achilles injuries, a healthy Hood gelling with the team would have been huge.

Trade everything except Dame. A player like Dame will not be found for next 30-40 years in this organization

OKC traded Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen in 2007. Franchise players? BPM’s of +4.1 and +3.7 respectively. That worked out pretty well. Course you need a draft savant to replicate. Is Olshey up to the task? LOL.

I don't know how you expected Olshey to build on 2019 when he could only keep one of Curry, Hood, and Kanter and he didn't have Nurkic going into the season.

How’s about seeing if a defensive minded Coach can get this team to a Championship? We all know Offense doesn’t really need a Coach.

This is a really poor observation. Offense ABSOLUTELY needs a coach.

The Blazers didn't run out of gas in that game, the ref. was dirty.

Acquiring Zion to fill the void was a nice move on their part.

If you did that, and I were Dame, I would say "get me the fuck out of here!"

Was he hanging on Sheed's and Steve Smith's arms? Because that would be pretty blatant!

Here is Harkless. I would say Lillard made him a better player. And I'll give Stotts some credit too.

    Same as Aminu.

    They peaked in Portland.

Olshey doesn't appear to give much thought about the cap situation 2-3 years down the road. It appears he takes things year by year & as a result he finds himself in between a rock & a hard place. It's all his own doing though.

This is true of a bunch of players. It's almost as if... Stotts was a good coach...?

Give Lillard some of that credit. Great players make the players around them better.

So what you're saying is we need to trade CJ right away in case his stats drop like harkless and aminu?

    I agree!

Not necessarily. Some great players make SOME of their teammates better. But, conversely, some players are only put in a position to be great because of their teammates. Steph Curry needs people to set screens for him. And look at Porzingis vs. Doncic: everyone's saying Porzingis is complete dogshit and Doncic is Lord God Almighty, but Porzingis looks a fuck ton better every time Doncic is out because he actually sees the ball once in a while.
