I would like the comment but I don't agree. Who among us knows every fucking good player in the league. It's not like Grant is some stalwart all star. I enjoy your takes... so don't change your signature.

Lmao. I just like the thought of if I make some amazing post filled with big words and stats and graphs that at the end it'd just say "I'm an idiot."

Waiting for all of them to be bumped from the playoffs so we can interview coaches?

Playoff P making an appearance, once again.
Not sure I’d trade CJ for him

I wonder how many people thought it was a great hire when the Jazz hired Quinn Snyder? I think we have as good of a roster as the Jazz, or not far off from it. Sometimes a coach and a system can make a big difference.

In a heartbeat, I'd take Playoff P for CJ. Get the guy a sports psychologist or just understand that his jumper isn't what you rely on in the playoffs. You still have his D and athletic ability to get to the hole. Hopefully you have a breakthrough though, especially since he's never had a teammate with the kind of positivity Dame brings.

man i wish we played with the kinda aggression that utah is playing with. everything is done with conviction: crashing the glass, fighting thru screens, cutting, etc etc.

    it's a culture

PG is an absolute ELITE #2 in the right environment. I watched him closely in indy for a while. He's a follower if there ever was one and needs a nurturing environment with a guy who would be in his ear being positive. the only leader he's played with who he could play off of was Russ and he had MVP numbers with him. Kawhi and he are clunky fit-- lot like Dame & CJ.

also, the elite defense is why i'd bring him in.

He isn’t even good defensively anymore. He is getting cooked. You watching? He’s not even closing out on 3s. It’s actually funny. Just search Twitter.

There is a reason Kawhi is their go to option on offense and defense. If PG was even *decent* they’d have him on Luka / Mitchell to preserve Kawhi on offense.

You can’t rely on him in the playoffs, period.

His athletic ability is diminished as well, which has probably aided in his increasingly worse defense. (Which they don’t even put him on number 1 options.)

And it’s not that I don’t think PG as a talent is worse than CJ. I just think if PG is the best we can do, might as well ship CJ out for multiple players cuz it’s clear PG isn’t the answer in the playoffs.

And, like Collins (always injured), I’m not one to hope for breakthroughs.

And it’s not like we would get CJ for PG straight up.

i dont undrestand what ty lue is doing.

what is the point of rondo when kawhi/george initiate every offensive possession? he's a liability off the ball and a massive negative on defense

Maybe with the Kawhi/Billups relationship we can get him to come here in 2022 if Billups gets the job and overachieves this coming season.
