Whose bright idea was it to have Rondo guard Booker for nearly 8 minutes in single coverage

He does. He is just not as good at it. Booker is spectacular.

But as Van Gundy pointed out during this game, you have to have someone who can hit the mid-range jumper when teams take away the rim and the 3 ball, and CJ is one of the best at it in the league.

Other than Saric going 2-2 from the line, the only other player to shoot a FT for Phoenix was Booker who went 7-7.
The Suns shot 55% from the field (40% from 3)

Someone has to explain the Suns to me. It’s not Chris Paul. They dominated the bubble without him. I wonder how far they would’ve gone last year if Lavert hit that last shot against us (putting Suns in play-in). What clicked for this team? They didn’t make a big trade or get players back from injury. They just all of the sudden got good. And Chris Paul has gotten way too much credit for it. Like I said, they were just as great with Rubio. Is Monty Williams a genius?

Tore it down and rebuilt it. Hit on their draft picks. Didn’t reach for a WABC. Complimented their best player with the roster

Yep tore it down for over a decade and hit on a few of their draft picks in that 10-year stretch.

Couldn't you say something similar about the Roy-and-Aldridge Blazers? Didn't we have the worst record in the NBA in their rookie year?
And apparently it's not CP3, it's James Jones.
