No one is answering those questions. It will merely be a status quo of, "We're not discussing something that was resolved over two decades ago."
It's either that or they'll put out a written statement about it and refer to that statement every time they're questioned. I mean, maybe you hear Neil say something like, "We thoroughly vetted coach Billups and were more than satisfied with what we found." They're not going to get into a back and forth, they're not going to further the narrative of what may or may not have happened by talking about it at length. If they did I would be shocked and I'm not sure that would be the best way to handle it anyway.
I understand you have already said this but i have also heard that there are a few that don't like Hammon at all. It comes with the territory I'm sure.

Billups will attract players as well. Highly respected and liked around the league I hope we see that take affect this off-season
I just can’t imagine writing the same stuff over and over every day all season long about a basketball team. Like where’s the joy in that? I don’t surround myself with people or things that make me that angry so it’s hard to relate.
There were some 'haters', but there were also people legitimately questioning (for a number of years) why this we still going on and being allowed to continue given the results? Should posters instead just accept complete ineptness at times and be silent? As long as it is well thought out and expressed, no issues with those who had valid concerns. Those who posted things like 'F*** of and die', legitimate haters probably not worth having a discussion with anyhow. There is a big difference.
