Ok, assuming Dame requests a trade and it's a done deal. Here is what I would do: Dame to Boston for Tatum, Thompson, 1st rounder and Moses Brown (but he'd have to be traded in a separate deal because he was just traded.) CJ and pick to Sixers for Simmons. I'd also try to work out something where we send Nurk and RoCo to Golden State for Wiseman and maybe Wiggins. The Warriors are trying to reload for another shot at a title. Nurk and RoCo would really help with that.
I want Tatum. They still have Brown and he's really good. But if they want Dame, they need to give up Tatum.
Honestly, if we trade Dame, I could care less for what we get. I'd just want to trade him to a franchise I could stomach. Because we're going to be up shits creek for the better part of a decade anyway, assuming the Blazers stay in Portland. No to the L*kers No to the Mavs No to the Warriors No to the Celtics and so forth and so on. Miami is probably cool. I don't know where else.
Man I would love to get Tatum. I forgot to add that part, but Brown is good in his own rights. Either of them would be huge for Portland
Murray/Porter Jr/1st rounder Brown/Smart/Willams Those are the 2 trades I’d probably do it for and I don’t think either team would say no when they could have Dame/Tatum or Dame/Jokic Then you ship CJ/Pick to to Philly for Simmons Smart Powell Brown Simmons Nurk or Murray Powell Porter Jr Simmons Nurk Are those starting lineups really worse than what we had this past season?
While I like the value of the Nuggets trade I think it's crazy to consider trading him to a division rival. Getting burned 4 times a year by him would be an absolute nightmare.
Yes but Porter Jr appears headed to star level and I believe Murray is already there. Dame might get us for a season or 2 but those guys are almost a decade younger.
