The problem is he realized this 4 seasons too late. Olshey is a dipshit. Let’s wait til now to act aggressive when his hands are tied because of the stupid decisions HE has made. It’s an institutional problem within the organization for letting both Olshey and Stotts carry on for as long as they did.

With our luck, we'd get the equivalent of Darko.

KAT was my first thought when reading this idea of CJ for a pick.

Love the idea but the trade doesn't work. We take on too much money. If we talked to DJ and he opted in then we could throw him to either of the two teams but I'd rather send our 2026 pick to Minny and make them take back KLove... if not I'd want to remove the 2024 first and send DJ to Minny. I think DJ is a positive asset especially under a coach who is talking about off ball player movement, ball movement and defense.

    So ideally it would be

    Portland
    Out - CJ, Nurk, 22 1st, 24 1st and 26 1st
    In - KAT

    Minnesota
    Out - KAT
    In - Nurk, Love, 3rd pick, 22 1st, 24 1st and 26 1st

    Cleveland
    Out - Love, 3rd pick
    In - CJ

Why would Minnesota trade kat to anybody when he not asking to get out. A lot of these trade don't make sense. I not saying it will never happen but I give it 5 percent chance that we get kat and skiam I probably spell it wrong. These teams not going give up there best players for CJ that's not going to happen. Now us getting Love now that a big possibility due they need get rid of Love one way another due all crap he did last year. Now if someone going give us top 4 pick and fillers and if them fillers can help us then that's probably as going get for CJ. Olshey need think really hard if that rumor is true. I know we look for now or we loose Dame but you also have to look for future that you might draft your next star with a top 4 pick.

prolly nothing but some guy on the comments in blazers edge hinting at a 3 way w/ philly, and us ending up with siakam and george hill for CJ + DJ + picks.

I'd like to remind everyone that dame started following Siakam on twitter a few weeks ago, even though Pascal has been inactive for a while now.

Him following him on Twitter doesn't really mean anything considering that if it were smoke to that trade fire, Dame wouldn't have made the comments of urgency since he would have already known.

I was really high on Siakam.... but I'm starting to come around more to just getting Simmons if it's possible. He's younger and I think he has a higher ceiling.

Yet he’s not committed to staying for long term. This is Neil last chance at creating a championship type roster. Heck neil shouldn’t even be here but here we are
