Id be good with him coming, Uf he comes here Chauncey okd it and I have faith in his ability to coach and help players excel.
Doesn’t this off-season just scream a Justise Winslow signing for the TMLE. That would be the most Neil thing to do.
I’m going Legend Neil Dame to Philly for Simmons, Thybulle, Maxie, 2023 1st, 2025 1st CJ and DJJ to Cleveland for Love, Osman and 2021 1st (3) - Mobley Nurk to Boston for Thompson, Williams III and a 2022 1st Maxie (20) Thybulle (24) Simmons (25) Mobley - (20) Williams (23) Simons (22) Little (21) Elerby (21) Thompson - expiring RoCo -expiring Love - 2 years Osman - 3 years 3 extra firsts Young, athletic, long, defenders
checks himself in the mirror, spritzes up a cloud of cologne, smiles & points at the big guy, carries on STOMP
Would be fun to watch them grow and develop and would reinstall at least a little hope for the future. Also, they would win as many Playoff series as the current roster in 4 of the last 5 years...and as many Playoff wins as a couple of those seasons. Ugh. Love Dame....but Neil waited too long. Perhaps, it is time to rebuild while you would get the most for what you have.
1. Buy a second round pick. 2. Trade DJ + 2022 1st for Thad Young. 3. S&T Powell. 4 yrs, 76 mil in a three way with Charlotte and Indiana with Turner going to Indy, us getting Hayward (weird math, but it can work if I'm looking at this correctly). 4. Sign Elfrid Payton for the TP MLE 5. Sign Ed Davis for the minimum. Dame/ Payton CJ/ Simons Hayward / Nas Roco / Young Nurk / Davis
I'm not sure how Turner goes from Indy to Indy, but this does not work because of Powell's BYC rules. He will count for 11.6M outgoing and Hayward is 30M incoming.
hmm, lemme keep playing on fanspo. perhaps you're right. it allowed me to do it last night when i put in a new contract for powell ~20 mil.
Not all the rules are accounted for correctly on Fanspo. For one, I know BYC is not accounted for. Also, I think Fanspo assumes all teams don't have to follow salary cap rules since the Hornets are under the cap. That's not true. The Hornets don't have to follow salary matching rules as long as they have enough space to absorb an imbalanced deal. However, the Blazers still have to because they are over the cap.
Rarely does a team facilitating a sign and trade get much of anything, they especially don't get an upgrade but if you can make the salaries work, I'd love for that to happen.
I like the layout of that site, but was playing around with it yesterday, and it definitely was allowing some illegal trades on there. I was able to have the Blazers take in like 30 million in salary just moving DJJ.
