If I were to cheat on my wife it would be with Scarlett Johansson. And I dont cheat on my wife. That is what SAS is basically saying about dame. It's not even remotely news. It's just sad reporting. He is not asking for a trade as SAS points out but if he were it would be to the nicks. But again not asking for a trade. .. moronic
Bumped into KP a few times at Subway in Tualatin and he was arrogant as hell, Im not one for saying anything to people in public but he was right in front of me in line, the first time and I said Ive been a loyal fan since day one and he just nodded and signed out. He may have been upset or something so I shrug it off. The next time at same place a month later he was coming in and i was going out and I said I was looking forward to a great season, go get em and he didn't even acknowledge me, no big deal but he sure didn't come across like a people person or at least courteous. Maybe he juts got word he was going to be a goner. never did exactly understand why he had a fallen out with Paul.
I guaranfuckingtee you wouldn't ever see Olshey in Subway. Obviously he doesn't eat in places without valet parking.
NY roster is total asscheeks… Hopefully Dame won’t go that route. A Knicks trade would keep the Blazers in the lotto for the foreseeable future. What kind of asscheeks? Beldar Conehead cheeks:
I remember there being some stories about a little conspiracy between KP and Tom Penn to secure Penn a new contract and pay bump....and PA got wind of it. Also, there may have been a sense in Seattle that KP was taking too much credit for moves and picks Portland made https://hoopshype.com/tag/kevin-pritchard/page/44/ and an interview with PA in 2011: https://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/2011/12/qa_with_trail_blazers_owner_paul_allen.html
I also thought the Roy contract was an issue. KP basically threw Paul & Seattle under the bus to get Roy a max contract. He only played 1 season (47 games) in Portland on that contract before he retired
This game of musical PGs makes me wonder if CJ's value won't skyrocket in a week or so, once the dust has settled. Maybe that's wishful or overly optimistic thinking, but clearly teams are looking for playmaking ballhandlers, and for all of his warts, CJ would absolutely be that on a team not run by Dame...
Can we know what his opinion of bullet trains is - or is he more of a grizzled old-timer loving steam trains and still dreaming about the glory days of the union pacific?
I think that has to be the hope. I wouldn't expect anything on the CJ front to happen in the first three or four days (if it does at all). If something does present itself, you next need to hope that the respective team has either a win-now player of value to the Blazers or assets that are appealing enough to another team to be willing to pass along to such a player. Fingers crossed.
Kendrick Perkins on the jump just said about the meeting with olshey billups and dame…”I heard it went really really good” for whatever that’s worth. He’s pretty plugged in
By all accounts, Chauncey sounds like he's been super critical already to so many things. Also critical to buying Olshey time.
Oh, sorry I was misreading what you wrote. I thought you meant he was critical as in he was being negative.
