I want a wing who can swing to 4. If we want a PG who can defend and not shoot, I'd look at Efrid Payton or Exum
I like the idea of Winslow because his best position is with the ball in his hands but he can guard wings.
It certainly takes a lot of pressure off Neil now that he has been able to sign Powell before trading CJ. I was wrong thinking Powell wouldn't do it. I still think CJ will be gone by the start of the season.
This was fun to read and catch up. I'm glad I didn't have to suffer through the Norman wait. Now I get to suffer the CJ wait for the whole season
That's not the way sing and trades work. The facilitating team doesn't get equal value for their player... not even close. So CJ and filler would be plenty but I'm not sure if adding DJJ would match Kawhi's first year of a supermax... it should be the same as Dame's which would mean it would work perfectly. Dame, Norm, Kawhi, RoCo and Nurk would be a championship level starting lineup... we would have a weak bench but Dame and Kawhi might attract a good amount of ring chasers for the min.
Well, Neil did well today. We still have to wait and see if he'll do the right thing and trade CJ and picks for someone who actually fits this roster. If we roll into the season with the roster that Dame said wasn't good enough in his presser, I'll still be pretty mad at Neil but again today was a win for Neil and he needs to take them where he can get them.
For DeRozan to get more than MLE from another team he would need to be sign and traded. The money has dried up. I don't know that I prefer him over CJ though even though he fits better at SF. It is close. Would you trade CJ for him?
