I think Portland could have a half dozen training camp contracts if they wanted.

Did Smith get waived by the Knickerbockers? Dude can play. Would be a terrific back up.

    Neil loves former Lotto busts

Ennis is better than Snell. But I don't want him eating into Nas' minutes.

Ennis & Hartenstein would be good additions. Hartenstein is a better player, right now, than Drummond. He's got skills. I wonder if he has character issues, cause he plays well, but doesn't stick anywhere.

Giles getting signed before Hartenstein and Ennis is a joke, swear he’s still living off his high school tape. The other two are legit rotational players. Even Patterson is more useful.

I’ve wanted Hartenstein for awhile but he’s pretty identical to Chriss. He is eligible for a two way though...

I’d also be surprised if Ennis had to settle for a training camp invite. I could totally see Patterson/Beasley get invited to camp though, with little to no chance of actually making the team.

So weird how Hartenstein hasn't stuck anywhere. In his minutes in Houston & Denver, he was very productive. I'd love to see the Blazers develop him. Plus he has that cool connection to the Blazers being a fan growing up in Eugene.

Yeah I don’t get it, he can play. He’s not much of an outside shooter though, so that probably plays into it a bit. He also fouls a lot. Still, a big that can defend, block shots, rebound, pass, score inside should have a place in the league. And he’s still only 23.

batum took less money from LA. guessing we offered our full TP MLE?

He actively recruited players, Nicolas Batum among them, and watched as Batum and others turned down the Blazers, even though Portland offered more money.

“You need a partner; it takes two,” Lillard said. “And you also don’t want to go out there and just do anything.”

Can we cut Elleby and bring in a guy like DeMarcus Cousins? I know he doesn’t bring much defensively anymore, but he can still score down low, rebound and is a body taller than 6’7”.

I don't mind Cedi Osman. He plays well in limited mins and fills the stat sheet. Taller then 6'3 and could be had for cheap
