I wanted him two years ago. Sounds crazy but he does a lot of the things Nurk does, so I liked the idea of him as his insurance. But he’s had an injury since then so idk. I know he’s friends with Dame tho, so that helps him. Lolz
Olshey had so much success with Hezonja, and Tolliver he decided to double down with scrubs this season
Very much dislike this dude ever since I watched him play in Corvallis vs the Beavers...total head case and poor sport back then (in one game he got into it with refs, teammates, opponents, and even an assistant coach who was trying to reign him in), but maybe he's matured since? Injuries and bouncing around thru multiple teams in a young career has a way of humbling a person. Hope he kicks ass
Can you jump really high? Were you taken with a high pick but then showed you can't really play? Here's your camp invite!
Can’t hurt. Far as I’m concerned invite as many players as you can to camp. Look at them and make a good decision.
and there we go...back up pt guard in Smith Jr and back up big in Chriss...could even be a two way contract for one of them or even both ....I think you can carry 3 two way deals on the roster...correct me if I'm wrong ...I know we've had two before..
I dont think either guy is eligible for a two way. They’re probably fighting for one spot on active roster.
So who are we signing for the real team? Chriss and DSJ are only for training camp? Any other cheap scrub out there?
I like the invite. Another young defender and lob threat that can be had on the cheap and worth a look. At least he is taller then 6'7", we need another big body. Reminded me of a Ed Davis type without the rebounding. Wiki also provided this fact I didn't know of him: On January 31, in a 102–88 win over the Dallas Mavericks, Chriss reached 100 career steals, three-pointers and blocks at 20 years, 213 days old. He became the third youngest player ever to reach 100 of each with only LeBron James and Kevin Durant doing so younger.[34] On April 1, Chriss scored a season-high 22 points against the Golden State Warriors.[35] He topped that mark on April 6 with 23 points against the New Orleans Pelicans.[36]
