This explains everything. He is no Lillard. Except in his pay. Which he needs to spend. Which explains this. And how he plays. A circle of reasoning.
...looks like CJ isn't going anywhere!! Blazer CJ McCollum buys 318-acre Oregon property to develop vineyard https://www.bizjournals.com/portland/news/2021/09/14/cj-mccollum-vineyard-purchase.html
That's awesome. CJ is diversifying . He is a shoo-in to succeed after basketball. I could see CJ ending up on World News Tonight. He's a natural. That being said, he burns inside to be the best he can on the court. I'm sure he hears the noise. But he's able to deal with it better than most. Perfect to be a future correspondent , or news host.
Nobody else is Dame either. CJ is trying to be the Best CJ. Looks to me like he has a plan, and is using his money to make more money. And I LOVE, how he's investing in Oregon. That's a lot like Dame.
Gotta love seeing Blazer paychecks invested in Oregon's economy ...beats losing it in Vegas or paying the tab for 40 leeches that follow you around everywhere like Iverson had...Respect!
The article says they already have wine being produced. This new property won't produce useful fruit until ~2025
yup. Cj already been slanging wine. Him buying property, if there’s no producing vines at this time, he won’t be producing estate-based wines for minimum 3 years, but most likely a few years beyond.
I just read up on it and you're wrong....it happens all the time. The New York Times just ran an editorial about the relationship between grape farmers and wineries and why they are necessary to fill the demands...there are many articles about it...as I said two of the wineries I've lived around farmed out grape production....
Durant at Red Ridge Farms Many wineries vie for grapes from Durant Vineyard. You’ll find its name featured on dozens of bottles from leading Willamette Valley producers. In addition, the estate winery produces around 5,000 cases a year, principally Pinot Noir, along with Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and a lovely rosé.
I have no idea what your question is...but grape farmers subcontract to wineries...google is your friend if my own 2 experiences about it don't float your boat...here Lavelle and King buy grapes ...in Nevada City the winery does as well....what's your point?
