OT Your Favorite (Chain) Burger Joint?

Had one of the best burgers I've ever had in my own home last night. Hot diggity, gonna have another one tonight.

 

Cheer up, you're a notch above Sly.

 

When I eat fries I want them golden brown, delicious and hot. I can't stand white french fries after they're cooked. No longer eat McDonald, Burgerville, Burger King or any other joint's french fries because they're always a pale white. Also, when I order French fries I order them without salt so I get them hot. I can salt them myself at my table.

 

What was the secret?!

 

I now eat the pickle and lettuce on the side because they just made the burger too unwieldly and soggy. Also, we use better quality meat. No French fries though because my wife says they make the kitchen stove too messy with not oil even when using a splatter screen and fan operated vent.

 

Boy, I hear ya...

 

Try an air fryer. Seriously.

 

I ate there several times and it was quite good. Easily in my top 5 for the Portland area. I think they also have a location in Beaverton.

 

Buy a fry daddy. I got the one larger and make excellent home cut fries. Use Yukon Gold as they have more starch and crisp better.

 

Today is apparently national cheeseburger day. Was hoping for some more deals, but this is the best I found.

 

Nothing even a little tempting.

 

I know. I was disappointed too.

 

I'm actually gonna grill a Red Robin Banzai Burger ripoff this evening. Film @ 11.
