This is all you think your Lakers will win? Pessimistic, much?

I do hope he has a great season.

I think it being a contract year is also a large part of this.

I would be very hesitant to give Nurk a big raise on a long term deal... he isn't like Dame or CJ where they put in the same work regardless of contracts.... I'd try to keep Nurk on short term deals.

I don't think Nurk ever shies away from work as much as he is not as mentally stable as Dame/CJ. Everyone reacts differently to trauma and all the hits Nurk faced after breaking his leg both from the emotional side as well as the physical affected his motivation. And it's hard to blame him for it. Also, recall his comments after the season ended about how he didn't know if the Blazers would bring him back.... it's as if Rich Paul did not communicate with Nurk about what his partial guarantee meant (HOW does that happen???)

The good thing is that both Dame/CJ have helped channel his focus back to the game with summer workouts/get togethers. And Billups appears like he's going to let him do his thing on defense.

I just hope he remains healthy for this year. He's the one true ceiling raiser for our team if he's playing well.

Yeah, he looks more "Lean and Mean" than Beast. Which I think is best. Less weight on his joints and more quickness on D.
As long as he has not lost any strength. And it does not appear that he has.

Was out at the Practice Facility this morning getting my tests and annual FLU shot and had a nice chat with Mr. D.O.L.L.A. He’s in great spirits, but I saw something I didn’t like………..

He was wearing BLACK Crocs with WHITE socks!!!! Sorry, but that’s just NOT acceptable!

I'm just going to assume you were in sandals with black socks when you noticed that...a very Polish tourist look. Probably a fanny pack as well!

What HCP calls a fanny pack most people would call a backpack.

It is one of those packs that are sized to fit the fanny.

    :drumroll:

I think a fanny pack for HCP has it's own zip code

How many pounds of lost weight do you think he put off in the off-season?
