If it's any consolation, we had some people who gave up on the team before the first preseason game last year. I think we're trending in the right direction!

It's the first preseason game and people already say we suck.

And people say I'm pessimistic. Lol.

I would be happy if Nas can be like a Terrance Mann for us.

It's great to see people assume new roles this season... I want some new people to side with me when I defend Billups as not being the cause of our problems!

Whoever makes the next game thread needs to add a poll question asking: "Do you think this team sucks?" Yes/No.

Curious if its as many people as being reported in this thread. Spoiler: I'll be voting a hard no... we do not suck.

I watched the Chargers/Raiders game since I'm a Duck fan/alum and Justin Herbert was playing...and that game counted while the Blazer game didn't

changed channels during commercials. 2nd Q I switched a few times and it seemed every time I did, Dame was hitting a three or Nas was turning it over

saw Zeller get his nose uninstalled from the center of his face; kind of discouraged me from making a joke about Cody endorsing Rogaine...heard the announcers talking about Powell being injured....WUT? Hope it's nothing? I see that Chriss and Smith played tonight...who looked better? CJ with 10 shots in 12 minutes...lol; was that circumstance or more MeJ?

by the way, in the history of team uniforms, has there ever been a prettier uniform than the Chargers powder blue lightning bolt uniform with yellow pants?

Been patient for a decade with Olshey, it's running out and not just with me, with Dame as well. I still feel he needs to make the obvious trade and if indeed it's Morey then fuck him.

Yes Nas played about as awful as i've ever seen him play. I'm gonna throw that one out as , Trying too hard. I've never seen him worse on offense. He was a cluster F. But we know he can shoot, and has good ball skills. I think a lot of guys had dead legs. I was impressed by the starters, and other than the turnovers, the defense was better. But you definitely could see guys thinking too much and trying to make the right play. I liked Dame's fly on dooky defense. He was on it. Offensively he was Dame. Nurk looked good, other than handles on a few occasions. After missing his 1st 3 shots, CJ was pure, and facilitated nicely. He was caught off guard on a few switches, but looked good. RoCo was his steady self. Ant was the most impressive off the bench. Still needs to dunk on people, instead of trying a tough layin attempt, but was smoothe, and facilitated well. Defensive effort was there. Zeller before suffering that brutal broken nose was great in his role. Rebounding & making low post shots. I liked what i saw from DSJ. He has a decent chance at making the team. He was gassed in the end, but played well. It's preseason, and work needs to continue, but i could see some things on defense that were pleasing.

Yeah, the bench guys looked like they were trying way too hard to impress the coach and crack the rotation.

There was scrubbiness all over the place in that final 10 minutes.

32-21 is not what I expected, but not gonna judge them after one game after nine years with Stotts.
Saying that, I would have thought, that they have tons of films to watch from those seasons, so not sure why they needed this game for more.

Eleby and Blevins are just wasting roster spots.

So there is really good news besides the fact that Dame and CJ were scoring at will. This team just played their first game in a new system on both ends of the court, they didn't do well and now have a week before their next exhibition. A lot of time to study and practice. I never come to any conclusions during the preseason but at least next game they'll have had time to fix problems that were apparent tonight.
