Lord help us. If it's Chytil, Jones, Kravtsov and Hajek I'm ok with it. It's worth the risk for guys I don't see being cornerstone pieces.

Watching him this pre-season and at the end of last year, then some playoff hockey last season, he's a pussy. I just don't see him ever competing at a high level when the games get nasty and physical vs. top defensive teams.

Dump, where did you hear were closing in on eichel. I’ve been looking and haven’t seen anything outside the usual that rangers are one of the teams interested

Dreger spouting some horseshit if you believe it. Makes sense. They have by far the most to offer without ruining their current roster. Plus, he's probably one of those tools that only wants to play in a few places.

If he checks out with the health thing i bet it's going to take a 1st as part of any package. Something like 1st, Krav, Chytil and Jones for Eichel and a 3rd or prospect.

    I saw it also.

We need a C, so it makes sense. I don't think we are winning anything big with the C's we have. Jones and Kravtsov as a base with some picks is a smart deal IMO. Not sure they'll need to include Chytil. We'll see if it happens.

I still think the Rangers might get Eichel. They aren't bringing Strome back next year and I don't think they believe they can win with him as one of their top 2 centers. Even if Eichel doesn't play this year I don't care. It's about the future. They will have 24 million in cap space. Let's say Fox and Kakko take up 13 million. Eichel takes up 10 million. If they get creative they can probably pull it off. They dump Nemeth after this season. Rooney as well. Georgiev as well. Maybe put him in the deal for Eichel. Eventually getting rid of Kreider or Trouba will be key.

I don't know if it will be Eichel, but this team absolutely needs to upgrade at C from Strome. Someone who can win a FO, and add more than just some points with Panarin like Strome does.
