Biden getting elected at all was a VERY short term win for democrats. I figured this was known. The dude has supported most horrible republic policies. I mean, he's come around on abortion and gay rights but that's about it. And he supports most terrible Dem policies. He CAN'T be a popular president. There is just no way.
The republicans are controlling the narrative while sabatoging the government, and traditionally dems dont show up for mid terms. My current prediction is that you dont have to worry about Biden for long. He will be impeached after the GOP wins back the house and senate. They wont even need a real reason to do it.
Good thing polls are fake news and we don't have to worry about those anymore, am I right, or am I right? Biden is hitting the low point in his polling at the best possible time for him and Democrats, I think most folks forget after Trump that presidential approval ratings change over time based on the events and news of the day. There isn't a contingent of supporters that are built in to support Presidents no matter what crazy thing happens usually. Once the Democrats pass the infrastructure bill(s) and get around to passing a voting rights bill, things are likely going to change. Barring some unforeseen event happening that is unpredictable, I think going into next summer as things stabilize and improve with COVID, the economy continues to chug along and grow at a reasonable rate along with the infrastructure bill juicing it even more I am pretty confident the tides will turn again. Things almost always look the worst after the first summer of a new presidents term, everyone was predicting Trumps demise post Charlottesville at this point in his presidency, yet he bounced back too and nearly won the last election so things are way too early to think they have any bearing on the midterms.
My wife didn't know any swear words in either Korean or English. One day she came home from work where people swear a lot and she usually kept her hearing muffs on when she was in her 50s and she asked me "What's a mother fucker?" She does not allow me to swear in her presence.
Reminiscent of Outlander, when 18th century Jamie innocently asks 20th century Claire what fucking means.
I wouldn’t say it was easy, he lost by a closer magin in terms of raw votes than Hillary lost in 2016. I am not talking popular vote just to be clear, but the margin in each state which decided the electoral vote total.
Read first volume. Sometimes wish writers would leave a good thing alone and not spin it out forever.
