It starts with who needs to go.

    Boone and his staff
    Gardner
    Sanchez
    Odor
    Green
    Gallo

It's worth mentioning the awful job Brian Cashman has done.

Serious question; Does anyone here believe that if Boone had not hit that HR in 2003, he would still have been given the managers job?...I don't.

It's kinda like Bill Mazeroski hitting that game 7 walk off HR vs the Yanx in 1960...only reason he's in the HOF.

I agree with that list. Put Higgy on it too. That means we need good catchers with defensive skills and able to hit at least .250

Yep, Boner may be revered by some as a "legend' but as Yankee Fans remenber he did not do much before or after. Can't remember the incident that dropped Boner and gotthat ass A-hole to the Yankees. Listening to A-hole last night brought back few if any memories of his (A-hole) time. Given his track record I'd say he fucked up more than he fixed up.He'll get his whe he fails to make the HOF.That Navin fuck up llast night reminded me of the Ferraro Randolph fuck up in the '80 Play offs and I reacted in the same manner. Now Boner claims the rest of the league has caught this team. Really the Yanks haven't won since '09, Boner must think the fans are stupid. Lets say goodbye to Hicks, Frazier and Voit as well. Damn this season just sucked.

Mess, you can add voit to that list. I still think unless cashman is fired nothing will change as he will either bring Boone back or add another unqualified yes man as manager

Yeah, even if we don't resign Rizzo, Voit has got to go...he HR or bust, can't run, and can't play defense.

Torres has also become too HR happy...he needs to change his hitting approach and stop swinging as hard as he can on EVERY swing.

As much as I get on Boone I've said often this year that the team was poorly constructed. That falls on Brian Cashman and ownership who are no longer trying to win at all costs.

Too many all or nothing hitters. They're all trying to hit homers.

    yankees-mlb-news-gallo-struggles-strikeouts-boone-bullpen-cashman-ultimatum-cole

New York Daily News | Bill Madden: The Yankees have won one World Series in the last 20 years. People are getting impatient. While it’s definitely not as easy as it seems, expectations are traditionally, and understandably, high.

Madden suggests that managing general partner Hal Steinbrenner needs to give general manager Brian Cashman an ultimatum and ask for explanations about the Yankees’ failure to advance beyond the AL Wild Card game. The writer also thinks Steinbrenner, whose father was notoriously impatient when dealing with losing, needs to ask Cashman why Tampa Bay is so much better than the Yankees in spotting and developing talent.

Think of baseball as NASCAR. Yo can put out the hotttest car on the track but if paired with an avereage or below driver you may see some flash but a poor finish. That's how I feel about Boner. Handed great wheels in '18 but control went slip sliding away to its embarassing loss in '21. If the Yankees bring Booner back no place will be their only place.

The 2 ALCS Teams could not have been bought off, paid for and shoved down the throats of the rapidly declining numbers of a shrinking MLB fan-base. Boston vs Houston.
