Rumor What's going on in Portland?

Which why I said maybe we should make Beaverton/Camas/Oregon City threads as well.

 

Those places have issues but nothing close to looking like downtown PDX. Downtown has parts - parts- that look 3rd world. It’s embarrassing just driving on the freeway and seeing what’s happening. Now, yes, there are tents/camps all over now- Lake Oswego off the Haines St exit, Capitol exit, Terwilleger, and so on. We need to build housing ASAP or take over abandoned buildings and create housing like NOW. We need mental health facilities NOW. I’m fucking livid at our leadership. They all should be fired and we start from scratch.

 

I've never seen it in the six years I've lived in Lake Oswego.

 

The majority voted for Wheeler who wants a continuation of what they're doing.
Personally, I'm with HCP and think it's just a tiny part of Portland that has the really salient problem.

On a side note, last night my daughter and some of her teammates went to the Thorns game and had a fantastic time.

She said her and her friends (four 16 year old girls) had to walk to the parking garage a few blocks from the stadium. She is a pretty street smart kid thanks to my training. No ANTIFA, just some drunk soccer fans.
