    Are there any left?

I otherwise agree, with one addition: if it came from Lanny, you know it's gospel!

If there isn't any evidence then how can one make an assertion about it?

Define audible. If you mean does it make sound waves then any engineer would say yes. And you could describe it by a Fourier equation.

They are missing my point and playing games.
It cant be proven that all bears have hearing and arent deaf. And so if a bear is in the woods without a human, how can we prove the bear heard the tree fall when we dont know that bear’s hearing capabilities?
I know ive moved the goal posts on this a little but But the point stands. Not everything is provable. But common sense can still provide an accurate answer.

Of course it can be proven other animals have hearing. They visibly react to sound. This is really stupid.

but do you know all bears hear and none are deaf?

i agree. Really stupid. Now apply that same logic to all the other debates where people argue these semantics.

Im just playing devils advocate to what i see others do here.

Argue semantics when common sense tells one something else.

so i agree. When people argue semantics like this its stupid yet some people do it often.

Nobody else in other conversations is moving the goal posts to avoid proven and provable facts the way you are. You're just making yourself look bad.

None of that was part of the original question. Unfortunately this is fairly normal tactic you use. You're trying to create rare or impossible scenarios to support your claim. A deaf Bear obviously doesn't preclude the creation of soundwaves in a forest. Proven physics obviously dictates that the soundwave exists regardless of the existence of eardrums.

This is why you frequently support policies and actions which are proven to be inefficient, counterproductive, and downright harmful. You're just making it more obvious than normal right now.

My comment isn't intended to hurt you. It's an observation to help you understand how your actions are perceived by others.

Some people are deaf. That doesn't mean sounds don't exist, just they can't hear. I have no idea if there are deaf bears. I would guess they would not survive in the wild. And what has this to do with Covid?

Lol, well, I only have so much patience. Making fun of the willfully ignorant is the only way I can think to combat the spread at this point.

Some action has to be taken. Silence and good manners will just encourage people to elect another willfully ignorant president like Trump... Then you get horrid responses to (and outright denial of) serious problems (like Covid) and more attempted insurrections.

Not sure if what I'm doing is right, but I'm certainly not going to sit back and let it happen again without calling out the ignorance whenever I see it.

You're often a lost cause, the next best thing I can do is show others who might be reading how stupid it would be to align with your points of view. If it makes one person read a bit more it's a success.
