I was thinking it was like football where it's an auto 6-8 weeks but it sounds like 10 days or so, hopefully.

They should look into getting Rakell for the rest of the year, he would supplement the scoring they lost with Buchnevich. They also need another C of course but that will be a bigger long term deal. Give Anaheim a 2nd and Hajek.

That is not getting Rackell and the Mighty Schmucks think they can make the playoffs

Team needs a middle 6 C who can win FO's. It is a big need. I am hopeful at some point they address the need.

They'll fade out by December. He's a ufa so it may not take a 1st. A mid 2nd plus a Hajek or Pajuniemi type would be enough for a 25g guy i think.

Dvorak was sitting there for 2 years and the dumbasses running this team didn't do jack shit to acquire him. There really isn't much out there. Rackell isn't even taking draws this year. Lindholm is better than Strome on draws and overall. He just plays on a team with less talent. Especially since Gaudreau is clueless now. Issue is that the Rangers are counting on dropping Strome's salary next year and a few other guys so they can pay Fox. Kakko with this might have hurt his chance for a huge raise. So, maybe they caught a break financially with that. I don't see Nemeth here next season. He's not very good. Yet, they probably can trade him for a late round pick to a team that has far less young talent on d and in the minors as the Rangers do.

This has to be one of the worst FO teams in the last 10y in the league.

Chytil is improving which is good. Barron and Richards are actually two guys that look like they may be plus faceoff guys. Rooney will never be that. Honestly, they need to get rid of Hunt and Rooney in some kind of package deal when they get rid of that pussy Kravtsov. The answer may be in house. I see no way that Barron and Richards with their faceoff and defensively abilities won't be upgrades to the team compared to Hunt and Rooney.
