    If this is enough for Sabonis i would do it in a heartbeat. Just need Justin Holiday back to fill in for salaries and he would be good for the rotation.

    Nurk needs some coaching. He seemed not to be involved or intense in the Hornet and 76ers losses. He had only 9 rebounds in 28 min Mon and was lacking in defense in the last 6 min.

    At the FT line, he is rushing the shots and missing too much (1 of 4 on Mon). He needs to slow down, focus, exhale, and try to make all FT.

    Let's see a more determined, more active Nurk who can play 22+ strong productive min, protect the rim, score 10+ pts, and get 12+ rebounds!

    I'm assuming you would like to see him chuck a few more 3's as well?

    I agree. Some here feel he's a top 10 center and I think they would say Jonas isn't enough to get in return for Nurk.

    Jonas, Poetl, Bamba, Gafford, even Capela going back a few seasons were all available for reasonable prices. But because olshey had his man, we missed the chance.

    Now nurk is well outside the top 10 centers and we will likely have to let him walk this summer.

    Why would Indiana trade their 25 year old all star for Nurk and CJ?

    Thing about Nurk there 2 things that makes him play well the fans on home games and being involved in the offense. Playing with CJ and Dame that's not going to happen. CJ and Dame plus 40 shots a game and there both is to selfish on offense. This why one of these players need to leave because the way it stand now there will never win championship with these two players. When others not involved in the offense I think effects other playing with on the other end of the court.

    ok now, Nurkic's two best seasons came when Dame/CJ averaged 38 shots combined. Nurk didn't have trouble producing and being engaged then than

    well, that's true....the Dame/CJ combo is topped out...there is no upside, but that's not new. That's been clear for several seasons. But Olshey will keep rebooting versions of it until he's fired or one of Dame/CJ retires or demands a trade

    Who/what can we get from NY for Nurkic?

    from Boston?

    now if we packaged both Nurk & CJ, does NY or Boston have a package we’d like?

    This is simply wrong. If he wasn't in the top 10 why would we have to let him walk...? A non top 10 center isn't going to get paid a ton.

    Still think Nurk is the least of our problems. His defense is underrated and offensively we don’t need a ton from him.

    seems silly to be worried about our center when he’s one of our best role players. Defensively when he was out late year there was huge difference. He’s a big man who rebounds well, good defensively, decent passer and sufficient on offense.

    I think it’s important to look at Whitesides time here in order to stay grounded in thinking that it would be easy to replace Nurk.

    At the very least, Nurk sets really good screens to get our guards open and forces the defense to be honest on him on those screens, don’t overlook that.

    There’s really only one center that I want, and that is KAT. So unless the trade is involving KAT; I’m fine with Nurk.

    Sufficient =Nurkic
    Insignificant = RoCo
    …..how do you win a championship with mediocrity or less?

    Rich Paul will do everything he can to get LeBron his center upgrade.

    Trade ASAP. Not sure who I’d target that can fill that void - maybe Christian Wood.

    Looking for backup center depth: GOGA BITADZE. Upside and in need of a defined role.
