15 of the next 21 games are at home. So, 40 games in the Blazers are likely to have a record that looks better than they actually are but the question is, when will Portland get their next road win Fri, Nov 26, 2021 @ Golden State Warriors Mon, Nov 29, 2021 @ Utah Jazz Wed, Dec 8, 2021 @ Golden State Warriors Sun, Dec 19, 2021 @ Memphis Grizzlies Tue, Dec 21, 2021 @ New Orleans Pelicans Fri, Dec 31, 2021 @ Los Angeles Lakers
There is only one team on that list that is worse than the Kings. Given the way things are going, Zion will show up for the game straight from his audition for "My 600LB Life" and drop 40 on us.
Hell naw. Blazers are garbage this year. Ima ride or die though let’s see who the real fans are during the rebuild soon
I think we'll have our best shot against the Pels so that's who I voted for but we could put a great game together and upset either of our next two opponents or just play a decent game together against Memphis and get a W there. We just haven't seen our team put together a decent game on the road yet. So the Pels are the best bet but we could start playing even halfway in between what we've been doing at home and on the road and get a win sooner. At the same time we really could drop all six games between now and the new year.
Im fully on the rebuild team but also fine trying to compete. I just want us to be a contender again but that might be through a full rebuild.
I think the pelicans and lakers are the only winnable games but given how poorly we have been on the road we honestly could lose them all. I voted Pelicans.
How old are you guys? I'm still young so i might see a Blazers championship in my life, but if you are over 60 you are wasting your time with this team, Aldo is right, rebuild has to come
with where the ownership/management is at, im not sure anything will be quick. If we go into full rebuild you better hope the team is sold to a portland/ nba superfan. Otherwise this could be another decade drought not sniffing the playoffs. Rebuilds are crapshoots and there is no way to guarantee it would net better results over the next decade vs what we have had. Im all for making moves to get better. New coach. Possible new gm soon, who is hopefully willing to make the moves. Is there a generational talent coming up in the next couple years we could target if we did tank? Im asking. I dont know. If so, I could possibly be sold, but if not? Not really interested in a bunch of borderline all star projected draft picks.
