If Kamba was putting up CJ type numbers, TT wouldn’t need to yank him though. You seen Walker’s numbers from this season bro.

Yeah, I think it was reported the Nuggets and maybe a couple other teams had him on their draft board AT ALL. The rest flagged his back.

It was flagged before, got surgery, got hurt again, and now we are to expect it’s not going to be problematic?

also isn’t there SERIOUS injury issues in the family?

At least with B Roy they had a general idea he’d be able to play for a few years. Mpj teams literally thought he would never step foot on the court for a full season.

    crazy stuff

Thibs specifically said it was because he didn't think playing 3 small guards would work. I'm sure he was thinking of defense

note: Blazers are 29th in defense; same as last season

    Kemba is playing like ass

and it’s also a lie because they’re still gonna play with 3 small guards, just not as small as Kemba

    Quickley
    Rose
    Burks
    Grimes
    Fournier
    RJ Barrett

Kemba is like 5’10 though, so he is super short. TT was just being nice and sugarcoating a pile of shit. Kemba sucks now.

(They moved Alec Burks to the starting lineup, Barret to SF, benched Kemba and gave Kemba minutes to 6’4 grimes…)

    Quickley 6'2
    Rose 6'2
    Burks 6'6
    Grimes 6'5
    Fournier 6'7
    RJ Barrett 6'6

I don't see any "lie" there

Good to see big guy go back to playing, back to the hoop and backing down opponent for high percentage shot.
I think Chauncey is having Nurk do more of this too.

Porzingis is scoring 1.25 points per chance on the post, by far a career high and one of the best marks in basketball this season, according to Second Spectrum. Putting the numbers aside, KP simply looks more comfortable than ever before. KP is playing to his size, establishing deeper post positioning by burying tiny guys underneath the rim and backing them down before taking hook shots close to the basket instead of settling for turnaround or face-up jumpers.

New ownership group for the Zer's....lol

It sounds like LeBron James’ sports group is working on some exciting possibilities. Fenway Sports Group, which James is a partner of, is reportedly looking to purchase an NBA franchise. “Fenway Sports Group wants to buy an NBA team once it’s done acquiring the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins, Axios has learned,” wrote Dan Primack of Axios. “Why it matters: FSG is pioneering a new sort of corporate sports ownership, buying up marquee franchises in different geographic markets.”

Why Denver maxed Porter Jr early is beyond me. All they had to do is wait till this summer when he’s restricted and match any offer.

They literally would be breathing a sigh of relief right now saying “thank god he’s restricted this summer”

was it to show him loyalty? Can anybody explain what the benefit was not using another year to see if his back would hold up?

Fournier is 6’6 and Grimes is 6’4.
    starters:
    Burks (6’6)
    Fournier (6’6)
    RJ (6’6)

    Bench:
    Rose 6’2
    Grimes 6’4
    Quickley 6’2

They have 6 guards, shooting guards and small forward in the rotation.

It doesn’t take Einstein to figure out as soon as they sub out any single one of those players for their bench replacement, they’re undersized. (usually the 6’2 quickley is first… so playing 30 minutes with 6’2 instead of 5’10 isn’t exactly not playing 3 small guards. As Burks was already in the rotation. The minutes just got split between 6’2 quickley ans 6’4 grimes now)

Take a look at their top 5 minutes played last night:
    Quickley
    Burks
    Fournier
    Barrett
    Randle

PS - Thibs is the one who implied Fournier and Barrett are undersized by saying that They can’t play with 3 small guards as justification for benching Kemba, implying playing with 2 small guards is fine.

Which, by the way, Quickley replaced Fournier and Grimes replaced Burks

    so they were playing
    6’2
    6’4
    6’6

they followed that with Quickly, Grimes and Burks

    then Quickley, Burks, Fournier

They still are playing 3 small guards. A lot. Go look at the rotations and lineups.

    Unless you think 6’2 and 6’4 suddenly aren’t undersized…

So if you can’t find the lie, maybe you should
Dig into the numbers again. Or watch the game…

You've been touting this guy as a star for like three seasons now and you never looked into his college career or why he was drafted so low? Shit, that's quite the lack of curiosity you've got there.

So like I said, small guards excuse is BS. Kemba just sucks.

oh. And Derrick rose will come back and then they’ll play another short mf.

Ball vs. Ball tonight. Idk about you, but I'm putting my money on Ball's team to win it.

It would be tough to play three small guards together,”

you need to explain to Thibs what the 'lie' is, not me

I'm at the point where I care less about this Blazer season than I have for a long long time; olshey-vision has just about killed my blazer mojo

still, I'll tune into this game in the off-chance of a Blazer win because other than Blazer wins at LA in front of Laker fans I enjoy Blazer wins in SLC in front of the Jazz fans the most. Jazz fans suck
