In fairness th Lakers spend the most on refs so they have more to lose if they don't get the treatment they've paid for!
uh... we adjusting for # of total fans for each team? LA has far more around the world than others. That list simply looks like a breakdown of the size of each fanbase.
Utah's fanbase is smaller than ours - and they are significantly higher. The Raptors have a huge fanbase.
It's an analysis of Twitter data, so it's going to be heavily influenced by the size and scope of each fan base's activity there.
I think as Blazer fans we are so use to be screwed over by refs, we have given up complaining and just accepted it.
If he continues to provide obvious things to complain about, guess what is going to happen. 9th on the team in eFG%, 9th in TS%, 9th in ORtg per 100, 9th in DRtg per 100, 9th in WS/48....sensing a trend? https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/POR/2022.html
Maybe because we're so used to getting screwed over the decades we just expect it. Contrast to the Lakers who are used to getting every call.
Look I am OK with trading CJ, but clearly, we won't get much back. And I am Ok with bringing him off the bench once when we are healthier. But IMHO you guys are too obsessed. When I looked in on the last game thread in the 4th, most of it was bitching about CJ. Keep in mind we were up by 22 at the time and he had the best +/- on the team. (+17) He had the most points, most steals, and most assists.......and only 1 turnover. And with 3 players out, he was carrying the load the whole game. Yet you guys were bitching about his FG percentage. That is insane to me.
He better score a lot given the amount of shots he is putting up....so not really 'points' in his favor.
