They should not have to get them to play hard. But if they don’t play hard for you what does that say? I have NEVER seen them play like this. Ever.

I don't keep track of ranking the really bad games and I wouldn't know how to measure what games we've played the least hard. It was bad tonight, no doubt.

that has to get these guys fuming, if anyone fucking cares. roco looks so checked out, nurk waxes and wanes with energy. CJ is chucking more than usual, and norm is battling nagging injuries.

    without ant/little, this is unwatchable.

we desperately need a personality like draymond to inspire guys, dame hasn't usually gotten in guys' faces before but i finally saw that fire from him.

let's hope it translates to harder play next game.

Couldn’t agree more. Like Tristan Thompson said, these are grown men that get paid handsomely to come ready, play hard and compete. They should not need someone to motivate to play hard and compete.

I think there was real logic in running the conservative scheme we did. When you're really weak in one area, you don't want to put them in a position where you need to be extra good defensively.

But some people here swore up and down it was Stotts and his drop scheme. Those of us who questioned it were idiots, Stotts-apologists, blind, etc.

I wish he just had the balls to give the crowd the finger, instead of this passive/aggresive BS. And Billups just takes it. Where is this much touted "accountability" he talked about?

You could say that about every game though. I've seen some BAD losses in more meaingful games. This didn't feel like the worst loss I've seen, but it was a really bad one.

Your opinion is valid if you feel its the worse you've seen.

They didn’t give a shit for Stotts either. They’ve just looked extra terrible this season because Dame has been hurt and missed some games.

You know, Paramore made a song about the Blazers. Little known fact. It's called "Brick by boring brick".

I might have the math wrong, but I'm thinking this game might hurt Portland's defensive rating

Agreed. And they've looked bad when Dame has played as well.

The Blazers with another stinker as they get run out of the gym by the Boston Celtics. This team doesn't seem to have any passion right now. Join us to discuss the game:

Hopefully GMs around the league see RoCo and CJ as being burned out as far as being here and look at their past play to judge their value. We need to shed these two guys and hopefully get a contributor back in return. We might also want to trade Nurk for a more modern/mobile big. Someone said that Christian Wood is available and I would love to get him for Nurk and a future first.

Whatever happens games like we've been seeing lately are unacceptable and this team needs to be stripped of anyone that is showing a lack of effort this season (CJ, RoCo and Nurk when he's not feeling the love). These games have been real bummers. I don't think they'll make Dame want to leave because he's so down with Chauncey but these guys not trying might make him demand big moves.
